Retail sucks. ♥ 8:22 PM
Well, I will start off with what tonight. Today, I finally got some things I needed to get done at the bank. YES! My car is very messy. I moved back to my house for the holidays and my room is a mess! I can't see the floor... -.- Literally speaking. I have a suitcase and duffle bag full of clothes along with a laundry basket of stuff such as shoes and girlie essentials: Blow dryer, straightener, and the likes.
Today was my old high school's concert and I played as a pianist for them. It was alright... I guess... I didn't get to sit with my friends because I was the official page turner for the other pianist for the night and she was mine. I didn't love the selection of pieces regarding the orchestra and it honestly wasn't THAT long... I guess because I was turning pages and not sitting next to Jason (the boyfriend). Yeah. But, yes.
Let me rant on about how I despise retail sometimes.
This is my story:
I was at work yesterday night actually, with the closing shift. I had some things to do such as reprice all the shoes ( I work at a woman's shoe store ) and clean up the shelves and reorganize some shoes here and there which takes at least a good hour and half to do all of that. I was hoping it would be slow as always, but sadly, it wasn't. There were people, groups I should say, coming in and trying things on without actually buying. It's not too bad, but when people ask for several shoes.... it gets on my effing nerves. I was with a customer and this girl from another store calls telling me that someone who ordered a shoe never received it. I told the other girl that I was with a customer and would call her back later. After the customer left, I finally looked through records to look for the shipment/order. According to our records, it definitely had been sent out. I called the girl back and ten minutes later, the customer who never got the shoes, called us. Of course... She starts bitching at me while another customer walks in. She tells me this and that and I try explaining to her that we shipped the shoe out and we can't do anything about it. The UPS had sent it to the wrong place, why blame us? The small little store? We have no more control over it and yada yada. She was like 'Why are you giving me such and attitude?'. Good thing I didn't blow up. I walked to the back, taking a few deep breaths because I knew the next person that walked in might have gotten some definite attitude from me... but yeah.
That was my day. Yuckers.
I'm tired. Good night.
Finished.
